Welcome to the homepage for Fusion Youth Singing!

If you enjoy singing, check out our weekly workshops in the Parish Room at All Saints Church on Marlborough Road in Bedford. Children aged four to nine sing on Fridays from 4.30 - 5.30 pm. Workshops for young people aged ten to fifteen take place from 6.00 - 7.30.

Sessions are led by our Music Leader Caroline Muzolf supported by Sarah Ibrahim as well as parent volunteers. The workshops cost 50 pence and are open to all.

The weekly sessions are fun, and we do a range of songs from around the world, including some contemporary stuff.

We also hold periodic music workshops on Saturday afternoons. These sessions have featured jazz and gospel singer Brenda Rattray and Indian classical and fusion singer Pooja Gupta.

Fusion received the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service in 2008 and performed for HRH The Prince of Wales during his visit to Bedford in 2006.

Echoes and Dreams saw musicians from the Philharmonia Orchestra and participants from the ‘Music for Memory’ and Fusion come together to create their own music, which was performed at the Bedford Corn Exchange on the 15 April 2009 before a Philharmonia Orchestra concert later that evening. The groups, led by project leaders Duncan Chapman and Jeni Melia, worked together over the course of a number of days to create their performance. For more details click here.
