Queen's Park Lives (QPL) is a community project dedicated to recording and celebrating the stories of people in Queen's Park.

As members of the interview team, we practice interviewing and then use our skills to record interviews about the lives of Queen's Park people. We then put our heads together to produce a magazine celebrating our neighbourhood and its people. So as well as helping us learn more about our neighbours, QPL gives us the chance to learn digital photography and brush up our IT and writing skills.

We have produced four magazines. You can hear snippets from interviews in our first issue by clicking on Soundfiles . While the first two magazines are full of oral history, the third issue concentrates on the history of Queen?s Park and the fourth ties food recipes to people's stories. A multi-faith team of adult learners has also produced a DVD to celebrate Queen's Park's main worshipping communities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs). Click on DVD for more information and to order copies.
