OLD NEWS
On 8 July 2005, the day after the London bombings, seventy-five Muslims joined us in church for Compline (Night Prayer). It was a poignant and powerful experience to pray together. We prayed for the victims and for our continued solidarity as neighbours of different faiths.

We hosted His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales in March 2006. Prince Charles charmed us all and was impressed by our faith-led community projects. |
In 2006 the congregation of All Saints increased its annual giving to church by £10,000. Thanks to this generosity and a legacy from the late Margaret Makin, we now have a new heating system . The welcome at All Saints is now literally warm (‘tropical’ claims the treasurer).

Queen’s Park Youth Cricket was launched by Karamat Hussain and Jay MacLeod in January 2006. Over 200 players received instruction from our volunteer coaches from the Mosque and Church. We entered six teams in the county league in 2007, and two finished
top of the table!
A Kenyan congregation meets in our Parish Room or Community Centre, and they joined us for a joint service in February at which Pastor Leonard Kibaara preached. |
